Village of the Damned - Original 14" x 22" U.S.A. Window Card from the 1960 Metro Goldwyn Mayer Picture, a Science Fiction/Horror Picture starring George Sanders and Barbara Shelley made in England by the MGM British Studio.

Given an 'A' certificate by the British censors, the film opened in June 1960 at The Ritz cinema in Leicester Square, London. According to director Wolf Rilla, it soon attracted audiences, and cinema goers queued round the block to see it. In December of the same year it was released New York and Los Angeles and it became a sleeper hit for MGM in the US.

Original Window Card 14" x 22" -  These posters would be placed outside the theatres, in windows of nearby shops and businesses, as a promotion tool.  Most Window cards had a blank space allocated at the top of the poster for the theatre owners to print the date and showtimes of the movies they were promoting
